'Two Percent (Prefer Pink)' refers to an international survey on colour preference. The strong pink background enveloping the abstracted female form attempts to ground the figure in the colour most associated with the feminine.
Circles and ovals are a constant motif reinforcing the idea of the maternal form. Whilst some distinctive features are sublimated using oil washes, others are more bluntly treated.
